Playtester Readme

Please, keep this in mind

This is a passion project for us (lordnull and morgul), and while we are currently spending a large amount of time on it, we have day jobs. So we ask you to keep this in mind while playing with the system. We welcome feedback, but if you get demanding, we will ignore you.

How to conduct playtests

First, it’s important to decide if you’re going to simply playtest for fun, or because you want to report back to us. If you’re just playing for fun, there’s no need to worry about the rest of this. If, however, you want to report back the results, here is a simple list of what we’re looking for:

  • The classes each player was playing
  • The monster builds used
  • If possible an audio recording or screen capture if using a battle-map system. (We recommend https://beta.battle-map.com.)
  • Results of the session, including thoughts, impressions, problems encountered.
  • Suggestions, if you have any. (Don’t worry about solving everything; we prefer to draw our own conclusions.)

If you do encounter something that feels ‘broken’, please, let us know.
